Minnow Media, LLC is a
full-service multimedia production company based in North Carolina. We seek documentary projects based on two goals:
1. To preserve the voices
and stories of individuals, communities, sites, and events that are on the verge
of dramatic change or silence; and,
2. To enrich public discussion around issues of individual growth and social transformation.
We also assist companies, schools and other organizations in communications planning, training videos, image
pieces, public service announcements, recruitment videos, and more. Call or
e-mail us. We'll be happy to talk to you about your project and how to work within your budget.

Minnow Follows Murrow Into The Fields
The 1960 film "Harvest of Shame" was the last televised documentary by North Carolina-born journalist Edward R. Murrow. "Harvest of Shame" delves into the social, health and labor issues faced by Americans working in the U.S. agricultural system.
Fifty years later, Minnow Media has created "Harvest of Dignity," a half-hour program that combines interviews with North Carolina farmworkers, advocates, faith leaders and educators, documentary photos and interviews collected by Student Action with Farmworkers.
The program also features clips from the original "Harvest of Shame" documentary. Many of the shocking conditions Murrow uncovered persist today.
This project was commissioned by Student Action for Farmworkers and funded by the North Carolina Arts Council and Oxfam America.
