The Minnow Media record label began when we realized the soundtrack from our Ruth and Billy Graham biography was something special, thanks to pianist Richard Putnam and vocalist Holly Hendricks.
Later, when Holly's rendition of the title song from our documentary Something in Common won an Emmy, we decided Holly deserved her own record, so we made one.
Then, one night in 2002, we found ourselves dancing to the rock and roll tunes of the Mobile City Band, old friends who were soon to celebrate their 25th anniversary as a group. We agreed on the spot to help them record a live CD which, of course, we couldn't resist recording on video as well.
And then, one of our buddies from that project introduced us to Mary Emma Evans -- a deep- voiced gospel singer with no pretensions. Mary recorded her first CD with Minnow in 2004. Who knows what might be next? Stay tuned.
